Exceptions to the final exam schedule above
Note: Courses meeting at standard times will have priority for final exam day/time scheduling. Classes meeting at non-standard times may experience location and/or student schedule conflicts. When a student has a time conflict between two or more final exams, instructors of the off-template class are asked to accommodate the student or students with an alternative final exam schedule.
- Classes meeting one day a week not already described above will meet on the regular course meeting day at the exam time best matching the course start time.
- Other classes meeting at times other than those described above will have the final exam scheduled by the Registrar’s Office in consultation with the Director and instructor. Courses not meeting at standard times may be designated to use the Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 2 – 4 p.m. allotted time.
- Online or other courses that don’t usually meet in a classroom but need to meet for an exam can choose Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. In this situation, faculty should survey their class for conflicts before selecting a day.
