Secure Your Student Records and Verifications
Washington State University Vancouver partners with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide automated enrollment and degree verification services. This partnership allows students and alumni at WSU Vancouver to access official documentation efficiently through a secure online portal. By utilizing these self-service tools, you can instantly generate the records needed for various professional and personal requirements.
The system supports a wide range of needs, from providing proof of status for insurance discounts to verifying academic progress for future employers. WSU Vancouver ensures that student data is updated regularly with the clearinghouse to maintain accuracy for all third-party inquiries. Whether you are a current student confirming your registration or a former student verifying a degree, these resources offer a streamlined path to your official university information.
Self-Service Enrollment Certificates
Students can access and print enrollment certificates through the National Student Clearinghouse. WSU updates this information securely each month. Certificates are available by logging into the clearinghouse with a WSU network ID and password.
Self-service enrollment verification
Additionally, students may print an unofficial transcript from myWSU under the Academic Records section for proof of enrollment, grades, or degree.
Self-Service Verification Options
- Current Enrollment Certificate: Confirms current term enrollment.
- All Enrollment Certificate: Verifies enrollment for all terms.
- Advanced Registration Certificate: Confirms enrollment for an upcoming term. Please allow two weeks after enrolling for data to update.
- Good Student Discount Certificate: Provides proof of good student status for discounts such as auto insurance.
- Enrollment Notifications: Lists updates sent to loan agencies and other third parties.
Loan Deferment
WSU reports enrollment information monthly to the National Student Clearinghouse and the National Student Loan Data System. Lenders use this information to verify student enrollment for loan deferment.
The Registrar’s Office does not process or sign loan deferment forms because the National Student Clearinghouse manages enrollment verification for WSU. Students can retrieve the following certificates through the clearinghouse:
- Current enrollment certificate: Verifies current term enrollment.
- Advanced registration certificate: Confirms enrollment for an upcoming term.
Students can use their WSU network ID and password to log into the National Student Clearinghouse to see which loan deferment notifications have been sent to lenders. Note that full enrollment data is typically available after the second Friday of each term.
Official Statement Requests
Most enrollment verifications, including certificates, are available through the National Student Clearinghouse. Please note that data may take up to two weeks to update.
WSU does not sign loan deferment or good student discount forms. Students can use the clearinghouse self-service option to print enrollment certificates or view verifications sent to loan agencies and other organizations.
When to Contact the Registrar: If an organization requires additional documentation or will not accept National Student Clearinghouse verification and provides proof of that requirement, students may submit an Official Statement Request Form to the Registrar’s Office. Allow three to five business days for processing.

Third-Party Verification
WSU uses the National Student Clearinghouse to confirm enrollment and degrees for outside organizations. Employers, background check companies, and others can verify enrollment and degrees of current and former students through the clearinghouse.
