Summer Financial Aid

Limited funds are available for the summer term. Most students should anticipate some out of pocket costs even if they receive funding.

Eligibility

To be considered for financial aid:

  • You must have a valid FAFSA/WASFA on file for the current academic year.
  • Undergraduates must be enrolled in at least 3 credits for grant consideration and 6 credits for student loans. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 3 credits.
  • You must be a degree-seeking student making satisfactory academic progress.

Fund Availability

Because many students exhaust their Pell Grant and loan limits during the prior terms, summer funds are limited. Typically, students receive unused Pell, Washington College Grant, or Direct Loans. Most academic awards, such as Work-Study or specific Vancouver achievement awards, are not available during this term.
