Event Spaces and Location Details

The Events Office at WSU Vancouver provides a variety of versatile spaces designed to support academic success and community engagement. From high-tech classrooms to scenic outdoor areas, our campus offers the infrastructure necessary for a professional and seamless event experience. Whether you are hosting a small study group or a large-scale presentation, we ensure every location is equipped to meet your specific logistical needs.

Navigating campus resources is straightforward when utilizing our centralized scheduling tools. All campus events are subject to applicable fees for space, equipment, and labor to maintain the high quality of our facilities. We encourage organizers to coordinate closely with our staff to receive accurate quotes and ensure that every detail—from furniture layout to multimedia support—is perfectly aligned with your goals.

Space Types

  • Classrooms Academic instruction maintains priority in all classroom spaces, including the Dengerink Administration Building. Events scheduled within the first 10 days of a term cannot be confirmed until 24 hours before the start time. For real-time room availability, size, and capacity, please consult 25Live.
    • Punctuality: Vacate the space promptly at the end of your scheduled block to accommodate the next group.
    • Room Integrity: Return all tables and chairs to the original configuration shown on the door diagram. Do not block emergency exits.
    • Maintenance: Food and drink are permitted in most classrooms, excluding computer labs and Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110. Contact 360-546-9000 for spills or to request extra trash receptacles for large gatherings.
    • Cleanliness: Remove all personal materials and clear whiteboards or bulletin boards upon departure.
  • Conference Rooms and Labs Individual departments manage the scheduling for specific labs and conference rooms. The Events Office does not oversee these locations. To book these spaces, contact the relevant administrative office directly or view the conference room directory.
  • Outdoor Areas Submit requests for outdoor campus locations through 25Live. Provide comprehensive details regarding your planned activities so the Events Office can properly support your logistical requirements.

Technology and Furniture

Most general-purpose classrooms, computer labs, and the Firstenburg Student Commons feature integrated multimedia equipment, including cameras and microphones for videoconferencing. For technical assistance, contact Information Technology. If your event requires supplemental furniture or specialized equipment, the Events Office can provide these items for an additional fee.
