Admission Requirements

You are considered a first-year student if:

  • You expect to graduate from high school this academic year.
  • You have graduated and have not enrolled in college beyond the first summer after graduation.

If these do not apply to you, please view our Applicant categories.

Admission Criteria

To be eligible for admission, you must meet the College Academic Distribution Requirements, or CADRs, established by the Washington Student Achievement Council.

Students with an unweighted, cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher who participate in the Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program are guaranteed admission. If your GPA is below this threshold, you may be asked to provide additional documentation for a holistic review.

Enrollment Considerations

  • Current High School Students: You must maintain a satisfactory academic record and provide proof of graduation before enrolling.
  • Priority Deadlines: Submit your application early for the best consideration. Applications submitted after priority dates are reviewed based on available space. If you change your intended start term, a new application is required.
