Academic Support and Advising
Students with similar academic interests join cohorts known as Pre-major Learning Communities. These groups work closely with Success Coaches and ELCA staff to build a strong foundation for their degree paths.
Advising Services
ELCA provides specialized advising for undeclared and pre-major students.

- VanCoug Journey: Students are encouraged to complete their Success Plan before every advising session.
- Departmental Advising: For specific major requirements, refer to the campus Undergraduate Advising directory.


Learning Services and Skill Centers
Help students maintain academic momentum by connecting them with specialized campus tutoring and support hubs:
- Math and Science Skills Center: Targeted assistance for STEM coursework.
- Writing Center: Support for all stages of the writing process across disciplines.
- Academic Success Skills: Workshops focused on time management and study habits.
- Online Workshops: Register for a variety of online workshops through WSU Pullman Academic Services. Topics include time management, note taking strategies, learning strategies, and motivation and procrastination.
