Hi! I’m interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, specifically as an anesthesiologist assistant, while also considering a Ph.D. in pharmacology. I chose WSU Vancouver because it’s close to home, offers a strong sense of community, and provides opportunities for students with a wide variety of interests and goals. When I’m not studying, there’s a good chance you’ll find me at a club or organization event, crocheting, or reading. If you see me around, do say hi! As a student ambassador, I’m excited to continue helping visitors feel welcome on campus.

I’m a third-year digital technology and culture student. What first attracted me to DTC was its flexibility and the opportunity to explore a wide range of creative interests. Since coming to WSU Vancouver, I’ve expanded my skills in graphic design, social media, and digital storytelling, which has helped me discover new career possibilities and creative passions. I chose WSU Vancouver because it was close to home and offered a welcoming environment where I could grow academically and personally. I’m excited to share my experiences and help future Cougs discover all the opportunities available on campus.

Hi! I’m studying neuroscience and biology with a concentration in basic medical sciences. After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend medical school or pursue a Ph.D. in microbiology with a focus on cancer research. As a first-generation college student, I value the support and opportunities I’ve found at WSU Vancouver. I chose this campus because it’s close to home and offers a smaller learning environment where it’s easy to build relationships with professors while still enjoying an active campus life filled with clubs, events, and opportunities to get involved.

Hi! I’m a second-year accounting student. I started here as a freshman, and every semester I’ve grown to appreciate this campus even more. I chose WSU Vancouver for its strong academic programs, supportive resources, and the opportunity to stay close to home. The small-campus environment makes it easy to connect with professors and classmates while still enjoying a vibrant campus community. I also love spending time outdoors, so the scenic trails, mountain views, and fountain quickly became some of my favorite features of campus. Outside of school, I enjoy pottery, cooking, and road trips with my family. As a student ambassador, I’m excited to welcome future Cougs and share what makes WSU Vancouver such a special place.

I wanted to become a Student Ambassador because I enjoy meeting new people and helping others feel welcome. I’m excited to share my experiences at WSU Vancouver with prospective students and help them learn more about the opportunities and resources the campus has to offer. Hi everyone! I’m a senior majoring in history with minors in anthropology and art history. One of the things I love most about WSU Vancouver is the wide range of opportunities available to students, from scholarships and research projects to art exhibits and student leadership experiences. One of my favorite memories is placing first in the art category at the Research Showcase alongside my friends. As an R1 research university, WSU offers students meaningful opportunities to explore their interests and showcase their work. I’m also the president of the History Club, one of more than 60 student clubs and organizations on campus.
As a first-generation Filipino American student, I’ve found a welcoming and supportive community at WSU Vancouver. The faculty, staff, and fellow students have had a positive impact on both my academic and personal journey. I’m excited to help prospective students explore campus and imagine their own future as part of the Cougar community.
