Your First Stop for Student Services
The Cougar Center is the front door to WSU Vancouver and a welcoming first stop for students, supporters, and campus visitors. Whether you are visiting campus for the first time, starting a new semester, or have questions about university services, the Cougar Center is a central point of contact and connection for the campus community.
Throughout your time at WSU Vancouver you can turn to the Cougar Center to navigate important services and processes, and find the right resources when you need them.
How the Cougar Center Can Help
- Finding your way around campus, including visitor parking and where to park for appointments
- Paying tuition and fees, and managing your student account
- Getting a CougarCard, Nursing Badge, or C-TRAN bus pass
- Finding the right campus office or resource to answer your questions

Get your CougarCard
Your CougarCard is your official WSU Vancouver identification card and provides access to campus services, resources, and facilities.
To request your CougarCard:
- Upload a passport-style photo
- Upload a valid government-issued photo ID for verification
- Allow up to one week for processing
Same-day pickup is not available. You’ll receive an email when your CougarCard is ready to be picked up at the Cougar Center.
Faculty and staff who need a CougarCard should contact the Cougar Center to discuss pickup.
Get a free C-TRAN bus pass
WSU Vancouver students are eligible for a free Education Opportunity Pass, which provides a HOP card for C-TRAN transportation access.
The pass provides:
- Free and unlimited rides on local C-TRAN routes within Clark County
- On-demand rides through The Current, C-TRAN’s rideshare service
The pass does not include regional or express C-TRAN routes or TriMet service.
To request a bus pass, email the Cougar Center after submitting your CougarCard photo. The same photo will be used for your bus pass. You’ll receive an email when your pass is ready for pickup.
