You Take the Cake Award

When someone knocks it out of the park—whether by leading a big project, solving a tough challenge or simply doing excellent work—they deserve a celebration. The You Take the Cake Award honors individuals or teams who have truly gone above and beyond.

Who’s eligible?
All employees—faculty, administrative professionals, civil service, classified staff and student employees.

Who can nominate?
Anyone! If someone made your day, saved the day or just quietly does incredible work, don’t wait—nominate!

What do recipients receive?
A celebratory cake (yes, cake!) delivered by the Chancellor’s Office with a congratulatory note. Recipients will also be featured in Campus FYI and may be recognized during a State of the Campus event.
