Required immunizations

Supporting a Healthy Campus Community

Protecting the health and safety of students, employees, and the surrounding community is central to the land-grant mission of WSU Vancouver. Scientific data demonstrates that vaccine-preventable diseases can spread rapidly through a campus environment. To provide and preserve access to higher education, WSU Vancouver maintains specific immunization standards to ensure a resilient learning environment for everyone.

Adherence to Executive Policy 43 requires proof of vaccination as a condition of enrollment for students attending physical campuses. While this policy applies to those receiving in-person instruction, certain exemptions and proof of immunity are permitted. Students exclusively utilizing WSU Global or other remote formats who do not visit a physical campus are generally exempt from these documentation requirements.

Immunization Standards

WSU Vancouver requires specific vaccinations and strongly recommends several others for all students participating in in-person activities.
