The minor in human development at WSU Vancouver provides students with a foundational understanding of how individuals grow, change, and adapt throughout their entire lives. About the Minor

The human development minor requires a minimum of 18 credits of human development coursework. The curriculum balances foundational introductory topics with advanced, specialized study. The required credit structure includes:

  • Required Core Coursework (9 credits): HD 101, HD 204, and HD 220.
  • Advanced Elective Coursework (9 credits minimum): At least nine additional hours of 300-level to 400-level human development courses.
