Accident Prevention Program
This program identifies, evaluates, and eliminates potential hazards to maintain a work environment free from recognized risks. Safety is a cooperative effort between management and employees, integrating health measures into every task.
Program Appendices:
Required Employee Safety Training
In compliance with state regulations, all employees must receive safety training. This is required on the first day of employment, when job duties change, or as a refresher every two years. New employees must complete a safety orientation to understand the specific hazards of their work area.

- Tracking: Maintain a record of all constituents to report accurate percentages.
- Requests: Submit a digital request at ehs.fais.wsu.edu once the container is full.
- Documentation: Print the generated label and attach it firmly to the container.
Required Information for CCR:
- Contact Details: Name, phone, and WSU email of the person responsible for the waste.
- Location: Building and room number where the waste is stored.
- Constituents: Full names of all chemicals and their percentages (totaling 100%).
- Hazards: Identify the primary hazard, such as toxicity or flammability.
