Who we serve: Student Accommodations and Disability Resources at WSU Vancouver serves students with temporary, chronic or permanent disabilities, including physical, health, learning, sensory or psychological conditions.
What we do: providing accommodations, auxiliary aids and services that remove barriers impacting the student’s equitable access to their education, programs, activities and campus facilities.
Creating a campus environment that is truly accessible and inclusive of all people requires the participation of every member of the community. To that end, Student Accommodations and Disability Resources offers students and faculty consultation, training, workshops and self-advocacy skills to foster student learning and engagement in all opportunities available at our university.
Apply for accommodations
New to Student Accommodations & Disability Resources? The first step in putting accommodations in place at WSU Vancouver is to submit a Student Accommodations Application.
Once this application is received, you will be contacted to set up a one-hour initial intake appointment with the Accommodations Specialist. Before you meet for this appointment, you will need to submit documentation to verify your disability or condition. Learn more about the Student Accommodations Application here.
Note: If you are unsure if you qualify for accommodations, or you do not have documentation, or are uncertain if your documentation is sufficient, you may still complete the Student Accommodations Application and we will schedule an informational appointment with you. You may still be able to receive provisional accommodations while waiting for documentation.
How to request or renew your accommodations
Log into your MyAccess Student Portal.
You will be brought to the standard WSU login screen. Enter your WSU Network ID and password and select “Login.” Your MyAccess dashboard will become available to you.
Event accessibility
If you are hosting a WSU-related workshop, activity or event, for the purpose of reducing environmental barriers impacting the student’s equitable access to campus facilities, programs and activities, we ask that you include the following statement on all flyers, virtual or public announcements:
