Supporting Excellence in Washington Education
The Vancouver Academic Achievement Award recognizes high-achieving Washington high school students who began their college journey at WSU Vancouver.
This award is no longer available to new students starting in 2027/28. The information below is for current award recipients.
Award Information

Program Limitations:
The award is renewable for up to four years for eligible students who continue to meet renewal requirements.
This award is only valid at WSU Vancouver and cannot be used if you enroll at another WSU campus.
Renewing your award
To continue receiving the Vancouver Academic Achievement Award, you must:
- Maintain a 3.2 cumulative WSU GPA
- Earn at least 24 graded credits per academic year, excluding summer
- Remain enrolled full time, with at least 12 credits per term
The award is renewable for up to three additional years for students who continue to meet the renewal requirements.
