This is a lovely home on a quiet residential street in the very nice, safe neighborhood of Maple Crest (about 10 miles from WSU). Although not large, (1600 sq ft, 3 bedroom/2bath), it is very comfortable. There is a covered front porch and a large covered patio in the back. We have off street parking. Everything is clean and well maintained. Every evening we serve dinner in the dining room. We welcome requests. We also have two refrigerators and ample pantry space if there are things you want or need to purchase for your personal use. You are welcome to use the kitchen. We want you to feel at home during your stay.
This is a unique living situation. You live in the house with us and our two feline girls. We give you as much privacy or company as you want. We maintain all public areas and you are free from household chores after a busy day.
The room is about 100 square feet, fully furnished with a double bed, night stand, desk and chair, all linens are provided. A large closet with shelves and a medicine cabinet should be ample space for your clothes and personal items. The $1200 monthly rent includes utilities and WIFI, and off street parking. You will have free use of the laundry room and access to the public areas, patio and yard. The hall bath is for your use and although not a private bath, is essentially yours.
After ours sons left home we rented their rooms in our house in Fort Worth, Texas. Over ten years we shared our home with 21 people. Our “guests” included travel nurses and therapists, medical students and residents, young people doing internships, teachers, people who worked in Fort Worth but their home was elsewhere. Some were on short assignment and stayed for a month or so and several stayed for a year or two. Most became friends and some became family we are still in contact with.
