Master Technical Communication and Workplace Strategy

About the Major
To earn the Professional Writing Certificate, students must complete five courses. The core curriculum consists of ENGLISH 301, 402, and 498. Students must also complete at least one of the following core options: ENGLISH 405 or 461. The final requirement is one elective chosen from DTC 478, ENGLISH 353, 357, 360, 362, 365, 401, 405 (if not taken as a requirement), or 461 (if not taken as a requirement). A key requirement is that ENGLISH 498 can only be taken after the other four courses have been completed with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. The certificate can be earned through the Global Campus and/or on-campus offerings. The university undergraduate certificate fee will apply.
