Fitness Center

Whether you want to build strength, increase endurance, or find a moment of midday zen, the Fitness Center at WSU Vancouver provides the space and resources to help you succeed. Located in the basement of the Library Building, our 3,000-square-foot facility offers a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff to pursue their wellness goals. From high-energy cardio sessions to restorative yoga, we provide the tools necessary for a balanced and active lifestyle.

Access to the facility is free for the campus community with a valid CougarCard. Our modern space features a comprehensive selection of weight training equipment, cardio machines, and a dedicated Group Fitness Room. Beyond independent workouts, you can participate in expert-led classes or partner with certified personal trainers to develop a customized plan that fits your unique needs.

Free access: Current students, faculty, and staff can access the Fitness Center for free with a valid CougarCard.

Sign a waiver: Sign a waiver before using the Fitness Center for the first time. The waiver is valid for the entire academic term.

Fitness classes

Fitness classes are open to all experience levels, with no sign-ups needed. Drop in for a variety of classes, led by certified instructors in the Group Fitness Room. Classes are free to attend.

Yoga with Nanu

Noon – 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays
Stretch, strengthen, and unwind in this yoga session.
Jazz Hands: Ending the workout with some flair! Because what’s a WSU workout without a little personality and "jazz hands"?

Midday Mindfulness

Noon – 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays
Join Dr. Sharon Kruse for a guided meditation to enhance wellbeing.
